Primarily intended for kids in grades 1 –6, Väski is an adventure island, where summer days fly by.
The action-packed island challenges kids to test their skills both physically and mentally. In addition to solving brain-teasers, kids can climb, balance, shoot with a bow and arrow, pan for gold and do everything and anything they can't at home.
Visitors can take a break from their independent adventuring and see a summer theatre production at Smuggler's Fortress.
Väski Island is a real-life nature experience, where there is no electricity or running water, refrigerators or microwave ovens. But that's the whole idea! There are outhouses at Pirate Harbour and the Fishermen's Village. You can buy something to eat and drink at kiosks. Everything is simple, but functional.
Väski is located on the southwest coast of Finland, on an island just across from Naantali's Old Town. Naantali is 16 kilometres from Turku and around a two-hour drive from Helsinki, Tampere or Pori.
